on 1/2 missile axel.$300 bill.Drove it about twenty-five miles proposed creation sound again as well as moving from left front than stopped completley.towed behind to emporium right away automechanic says tranmmision is out we consider it competence be a circle heart temperament public any ideas thanks
to chris who answered a subject approbation it did crap out around a spin because do ask thanks

You are right I do agree with you, it is the wheel hub bearing. It happened with me be4
well i think you when to the wrong place first sounds like they guessing…..and what you mean it stop as in the car just died… or it quit pulling… if it quit pulling the trans is gone.. but really i think they guessing.. i just put two axles in my dodge for 150 bucks about 4 hrs work… and your bearing come with the axles…
is it a 4 cylinder or 6? Anyway…What kinda noise is this? sounds LIKE its coming from the front left and actually is are two different things car needs to be put up in the air and wheels rotated to check for a thrown axle…They should both rotate smoothly…Reman axles are trash a lot of the time….engine may need alignment. when did it crap out on you through a turn?
it could be a axle too, it doesnt have to be the tranny, and yes the front bearing can freeze up and you wont go anywhere, but i would be checking on the axle and bearing first before going to the tranny. those so called mechanics will tell you anything, just to get the job.
When a wheel bearing is bad, it doesn’t matter how far you drive it! If it’s bad its bad (noisy or loose). If your driving down the road and your noise came back,(after getting hot), the problem is more than likely in the trans as it was when you first brought it in! That applies to the axle-shaft also,(if its loose or noisy. Bad is bad, heat does not matter).
okay does your labaron have turbo charger? i had this same problem in that labaron there is two maybe three different 1/2 or cv shafts avalable with mine which was turbo charged, they put in the shafts for non turbo charged car and worked great for about 15 miles then started vibrating and clicking again then they put another set in with the assumption they got ahold of a bad set same thing happened but this time didnt even get out of their lot and one broke then it wouldnt even move. so I took the car elsewhere, to find out they was putting the cheapest shafts in that were for a non turbo labaron, they put the correct ones in and no more problems they also found that the front motor mounts was bad and thats what caused the shafts to go bad in the first place. Hope that helps
