   try craigslist ive found alot of good buys there just remember to deal locally and if an offer is too good to be true then it is

   cargurus.com is a good used car website finder, cars.com is good as well as edmunds.com http://www.carbuyingtips.com offers lots of useful information to protect you as a consumer. It is worth it to also invest in a Consumer Reports magazine on car buying. There is a guide in the back about used car reliablity. Make sure that you do your research online before committing to a dealership or buying from a private party. Always get a carfax to check a vehicle history. Find a car that fits your lifestyle, your budget, don’t let your heart lead the sale as it will be the 2nd biggest investment (other than buying a house)

   Cars.com is the best, followed by autotrader.com, then comes dealer web sites, then craigslist.com and finally aol or yahoo motors.com

   It should be 4-door, 4-cyls, not sporty. I would prefer Honda or Toyota… First time drivers usually have much more expensive car insurance, and it depends from car. You should compare insurance rates while choosing the car – for example here – carinsurance.deep-ice.com
