my daughter leased a 2006 suv in michigan as well as someway she did not have automobile word upon it when she strike a tree – is it probable to franchise a automobile as well as not have a little sort of coverage by a motorist or a play in a state of michigan.

I would think that the lessors would have some coverage on their investment. Check the lease contract; I’m sure any details would be included therein. Good luck!
No it is mandatory in Michigan, and I believe every other state.
Michigan insurance is set up oddly. If I remember correctly, the way it is set up is that each driver is responsible for any damage to their own cars if an accident occurs. As such, if she does not have coverage of some sort, she will just have to cover the cost of repairs out of pocket.
However, I’m pretty sure that some sort of coverage is mandatory.
It is against the law to drive a car in Michigan without insurance. If the dealer knowingly let her leave without it there could be some (but not all) responsibility on their part. If she transferred plates from another car that had full coverage insurance, the insurance transfers too for 10 days. If she had insurance and let it expired, she’s in deep do do.
