2001 PT Cruiser. Car seems to be changeable when slowing. Jerks whilst slowing. My automobile is an involuntary delivery so we can’t suppose because it jerks as if we am downshifting as well as receiving feet of a clutch. Any ideas what this could be? I wouldn’t worry about it too much, what is probably happening is that at the position of the gas pedal where you had it coupled with the speed and RPM of the car is that you were unwittingly holding it in a higher gear than it wanted to be then so when you lifted off the gas it downshifted to the gear it preferred to be in based on your speed and road conditions.
