Yeah, if they’d perform like today’s cars……
Maybe not the style but some of the quality…… Ever look at a 59 Buick convertible??…. Lots of chrome, beefy engine and transmissions…. In interior that made you say – WOW not get a look at this!…. Nope we have to suffer with gray interiors that lack any style…..
Surely we don’t have to get the exact style they had back in the day but at least car companies were forward looking — Ever see the inside of an early 60′s Thunderbird? – Nice!…. They were futuristic looking!…. Now here’s the future and its craptacular plastic!… This isn’t the future I envisioned when i was a kid!……. Of course GM’s top car today like an Esclade are nice – but who wants to cough up over 50 grand to get nice…. They should be able to make an econobox have a somewhat appealing interior….. A little chrome, glass, a piece of wood and an interior that actually has some color would be great!
